STEADY START CLASSES

A great beginner level fitness class to get people back into exercises Focuses on exercises improve balance, stability, flexibility and co-ordination.

FUN FRIENDLY FITNESS

A beginner’s workout which promotes muscular endurance and cardio vascular fitness. Includes light weights, a variety of exercises, walking and some novelty games in a fun environment.

STAY STRONGER FOR LONGER

A strength conditioning program that begins with basic weight training exercises and progresses to functional exercises to promote muscle strength and bone density.

SUPER SENIORS

A fitness circuit workout for those who are currently active and looking for a challenging fitness class specifically for over 50’s.The Stronger Healthy Active Bodies program is a joint project between the Department of Veteran Affairs and Upper Ross PCYC that provides exercise opportunities to War Veterans, War Widows, Ex-Service Personnel and other people over 50 years wishing to improve their health and fitness.

GETTING STARTED

Firstly you need to become a member of the URPCYC at an annual

cost of $5.50 for people over 50. membership is transferable to

other PCYC’s incase you are thinking of attending classes or other

activities at another PCYC branch. To join you just need to fill out

an application over the counter.

No need to make any bookings, all you have to do is turn up, new

members are welcome at all classes. Class cost only $4.00 for the

hour fun friendly fitness.

Be sure to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes and closed in

comfortable shoes, a water bottle and a towel.

Time:                 10.00am - 11.00am

Cost:                  $ 4.00 per person*

 

*clients are able to attend 3 session then must JOIN as a PCYC Member to be able to continue in the program
